IFC Championship Round.

Welcome back!

Congrats to all the players whether win or lose! And everyone involved in the IFC in whatever form. Even if just an observer. This has been an amazing experience and event in my opinion in many ways. Thank you for being a part of this!

I'm going to write more about this in the future and this isn't quite the place for a big long rant about how grateful I am for all of you.. However.. This IFC contest has been one of the most enjoyable and meaningful things I've ever been a part of in my life.. And I'm extremely thankful for all of you heroes. :) I see all of you as heroes in this world. I hope we can do this many more years indefinitely into the future and do heroic things like help each other learn and share love and understanding and compassion and empathy with the world.

This has been a massive adventure for me, and also I've received amazing feedback from the community.. I think the signs are looking positive and I hope we can adventure more in the future. :) I'm soooooo excited about season two!!! We're just getting started... :) Still learning how to walk and taking our baby steps!

Another intense round. Wow. I was really hoping there would be a tie between eaglespirit and youhavewings.. Or magicalmoonlight and wholeself-in for that matter, they were great battles! And.. This was probably the hardest one for me personally to judge so far. Amazing job to the four competitors.. You did great jobs!

I do want to go a little further to empathize and say that.. The battle between eaglespirit and youhavewings, was.. Epic and quite a few people think that should have been the final battle. (Please give them a round of applause or some nice comments or something, it truly was an amazing one) It took me about 8 days of constantly thinking about it.. And it was difficult as !!! Ugh.. There was one or two other really difficult rounds in the beginning of the season.. But I think this one.. Was probably the most difficult yet.

This is it.. The final battle of the first season!!!

I'm tempted to do the "Areeee youuuuu readyyyyyy toooooo rumbleeeee????" Haha.. But.. I should do something unique and new.. Hmmm. What to say/do.. How about..

This is a choose your adventure round. We did this once earlier in the season.
There will be multiple options, you can do one or two or all of them.

I had also planned originally at the beginning of the season for it to be a best 3 of 5, however.. I think that's just too much as people are really busy, so we're going to do a best 2 out of 3 instead.
That means, there will be 3 subjects to choose from, whoever wins 2 out of those 3 will win.

Normally there's one week to finish the challenge, but I'm going to give two weeks for this final round since I know people are busy and this is sorta like 3 quests rolled into one..
You have two weeks to get as many of the subjects on the post done as you feel like you can/want to.

(By the way.. I did not plan this.. Though I did have a feeling something like this might happen as weird synchronicities with numbers and dates and events in my life tend to happen. Especially around my birthday.. And.. As weird as this is.. If this ends two weeks from now on the deadline and not sooner.. It looks like this final battle will end EXACTLY.. On my birthday.. Technically we'll still need to vote after that and it won't officially be judged and over for another week or so after that.. But.. Wow.. That's still a pretty cool little synch/serendipitous thingamajig.)

You can combine all of your posts into one big one or keep them separate, it's up to you.
But in the end, the judges will vote accordingly and if one competitor does a subject that the other does not, it will be an automatic win for that subject.

For example, the judges will vote on each subject like it's a round itself. And if someone doesn't do one or numerous of the subjects, but the other person does.. Then they will get automatic points for the ones that their opponent does not enter. I hope that makes sense! Please ask any questions if you're confused.

By the way I'd like to remind you that if you are too busy and something came up in life and you just don't have the time to play you can delegate someone else to play for you.

The subjects for the championship will be...

Love.
Deliberator's help a beginner round.
Pick a quest for your opponent.

I picked love because I think it's one of the most important subjects and I also picked Deliberator's help a beginner round to remind peoples of their roots.

I then asked the judges to pick a subject, and they like the idea of "picking a quest for your opponent", I'm not totally sure how this will work! But we're going to give it a try.

Essentially you'll pick a subject for your opponent to make a post about. I don't think we can go much beyond that at this point in terms of more complex quests like scavenger hunts and such.. Just pick a subject matter like.. Water, crypto, occult, magic.. Or whatever subject you want and then each player will make a post about the subject their opponent picks.

Please put the quest/subject you pick for your opponent below in the comments as soon as you can think of it.

The judges can base their votes on both the creativity of your entry and the creativity of the quest you send your opponent on as well.

You basically go to the #introduceyourself tag and find a newcomer and help them and then write a post about it.

ALSO.. Please don't hesitate to ask myself or one of the other judges if you have a question, I'm sure someone will be happy to try to help.

I would also like to offer to anyone who did not play in the regular season an opportunity to be a guest judge, I want as many guest judges as possible for this final battle, so please get in touch with me if that sounds like something you might be interested in doing! Would be cool if we got a few witnesses or big names in here to help judge this last round as well. :)
