How to Play GoDapp, Proof of Weak Hands on GoChain? *6SBD STEEM BOUNTY*
GoDapp, The FIRST Hourglass Contract on GoChain!

I've never actually tried Proof of Weak Hands, P3D or the like before but I'm interested in learning how 'smart pyramid games' earn and how they benefit the players. $POWH3D, $EPX, $GoDapp and similar contracts are high stake games of fear and greed, you PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Chances are if you see these dapps as a way of staking your coins, you are likely risking too much.
I consider it like a collectible game where GoDapp is the collectible (strength) and $GO are your points (proportionate dividends). How to Play GoDapp?

Requirements
- First thing's first, you'll need some $GO. It can be purchased on KuCoin or another supporting exchange.
- A GoChain wallet from GoChain.io
- MetaMask or Trustwallet to interact with the smart contract. How to?
- Strong hands.
Gameplay Instructions
- You buy into the contract by purchasing GoDapp, every token purchased increases the GoDapp price by +0.000001 GO.
- 20% of what you spend to buy GoDapp gets distributed proportionally to all other GoDapp hodlers.
- When you sell your GoDapp, you get back GO at the specified price, and the global price per GoDapp goes down by -0.000001 GO.
- 20% of what you would get back for the sale is distributed to all other GoDapp holders proportionally.
- You earn 33% of commissions from each masternode referral.
GoDapp Game Tips
1) Don't risk what you'll miss.
I can't stress this enough. When buying into contracts like these you should ALWAYS do so with a sense of scepticism. Never play with funds you may need in the near future.
2) Don't play with weak hands or hearts.
If your not planning to hodl for some time, don't buy in. You immediately start the game down 20%, that should be your first goal. If you have to sell early for whatever reason, the community will get the benefit... ignore your friends who also own GoDapp, they will laugh at you when you sell ;)
3) GoDapp is NOT a traditional pyramid. When someone sells, all other holders earn commissions. Therefor it's just as benefiting to be the last man standing (last to sell).

I haven't invested in any of these type of games before but the concept is interesting. Being an early entry into this could mean you get many coins since 20 % of all investments are dividing to all Hodlers.
Same here, this is my first one. I tested it with about $20 worth of GO, seems legit so far. Will update this post with a screenshot later.
The last person gets a lot of coins too, the 20% from sellers are also distributed to hodlers, so if your the last to sell the dividends will moon.

The concept of Proof of weak hands is interesting as a gambling game, but it has big potential for scamming if rules are not clearly explained.

Totally agree. The contracts should be validated by a trusted third party and allow for anyone to inspect the code for errors and malintent.

I think this is a interesting way to attract people into crypto! games will be the easier way to make people want to understand how the crypto world works
In my personal case, I don´t like this type of games very much, because if I want to invest in crypto I'll put my money towards projects that have huge potential and not a game. But I do think they might succeed later on, after the masses reach crypto.
The only game where I´ve spent "money" was @steemmonsters and it only happened because it was my favourite style of game and I didn't actually invested from my pocket, but from my hard work on steemit.
Many people find the distinction between games and investments blurred in regards to crypto.
Aside from my content, most of my steem power comes from buying steem with mining returns; that to me is a gamble. But Steemit is no game. GoDapp is a game; like poker— I have no problem risking a couple coins.
I plan on purchasing more steem for my first Steemmonsters starter pack soon, cheers 🍻
Hmm I've actually never heard of this concept :D Seems kinda interesting but in this space, I personally wouldn't go for it... On the other side, I'm a Go hodler...So I guess, if hodling, then this is just an added benefit right? Bought the tokens several months ago when it was still just on Billaxy. Feels kinda good that now Kucoin and Binance acknowledged them But yeah, regarding such apps, I can't offer much insingts...

Actually KuCoin was the first PoR node for GoChain, Binance is new after winning the community vote and Billaxy never had the volume 🤔.
Proof of weak hands style contracts are some of the riskiest investments in crypto. If you're new to the concept, Don't risk your funds. GoDapp is still being validated— aside from the developer, no one really knows if the contract is safe.

No. In fact, the only cryptocurrency I've ever invested in is Steem.
Why?
I don't understand much plus I don't have that much funds to spare.
Plus, I'm not heavy on games. I'm more of a book person

Proof of week hand games have had a bad wrap of late because of the shills that punt it and make sure they pull out massive profits and don't showcase to users that it is a game and not an investment
I think one could work if it was more of a community-based game where say, for example, a group of people who support and know on steemit would like to use it as a fun way to share in a little reward pool.
I've been trying to get that across the developer. By making it more of a game as opposed to an investment, more people would participate. A simple GUI would weaken the 'scammy' reputation around these contracts. They also should be validated by a third party for safety since the avg player can't read the smart contract.
Not a bad idea, I can see this happening really soon with steem media tokens.

honestly, I have not invested in this type of games because a while ago, a friend did it and in the end they cheated. It's not good generalize, but it makes me a little afraid to think of it happening to me. However, life is more fun taking certain risks, right?

So many of us have had similar experiences. There are so many scams out there, I hope your friend didn't risk too much.
I really like steem monsters and will likely buy a starter pack as soon as I have enough steem/sbd available. The GUI looks fun, rinds me of when I used to play Magic when I was in HS.
Also, Aircoins is pretty cool. We've never made much of any returns but my daughter has fun finding the coins like Pokemon go.
