Making All Natural Homemade Pasta Noodles
We are trying to become self sufficient on our homestead. Part of that is to provide our own food as much as possible. We made our own homemade pasta using all hand powered tools.
When we make our own pasta not only are we saving energy by using all hand powered tools, we are eating healthier.
With homemade pasta you know what is in your food. We put nothing artificial in our pasta.
You can add your own herbs and spices or get creative with different grains and flour types.
We have a hand crank pasta maker and a wood drying rack. Using less energy is part of going off the grid. We hope to become fully off the grid soon. We are almost there.
Our pasta also cooked much faster than commercial pasta which means that we save even more energy when cooking our meals. That is a double bonus.

you have to figure your time is worth something. Either pay a buck or two for store bought pasta and have more time for things that really save you money or mess up the kitchen, let cat hair get all over it, and deal with storing weird shaped pasta. Nothing special about making it so try it once and move on but to say it tastes better is bull.

I found this video, on your channel, of a raccoon you have on camera attacking your chickens. You have accused people who comment, of killing your chickens. So, where is the video proof of 2 legged predators?

I never said I did not have predators. But what I did say is most of the deaths are from people who intentionally killed my birds to harass me.
Police were there and took reports of the extensive vandalism each time.
Raccoons dont smash down 100s of feet of fence in the woods.

In a typical scenario the property owner (which is not you until you pay off the contract) would sue you for the payments you didn't make while you were squatting on the property. When you walked away from your property in New York you walked away with nothing. All of that money you invested into that land purchased was "poof" gone. I guarantee you that if she could go back in time she would have not negotiated that same contract with you (if at all) if she had a chance to do it all over again.

One thing I have never been able to perfect is making homemade noodles. I can do ravioli but not straight up pasta. Imagine the shame... married to a 100% Sicilian man and can't make the pasta - lol
