Breakfast Beers!?
Good morning!!
What? Wait a minute, beers for breakfast? Now that truly would be going beyond the pale.
Don't worry, I am not really going full on maverick. But these beers are eminently suited to breakfast (apparently.) One of them even says it on the can, the strongest too. What a day that would be if you started with that.
But what do you have before breakfast? A lovely coffee, that's what!
Uncle Funka!! What a fine name!! It reminds me of that song from South Park...
Anyway, what is this queer fish all about. As they say in Tokyo.
It's a pale ale steeped with Uncle Funka coffee beans. I mean there is a lot of other blurb but fuck it. Let's get tasty!
It looks ok on the pour, slightly muddy looking. It's not giving me the Billy Jean whatever that was.
Oh well, down the hatch. At least its got coffee in it, how can it fail?
Where's the coffee!?! Such insipidity? I will not stand it! It doesn't really taste of much. Just tastes like piss-weak beer.

Thanks once again for the insight - I do not know if it works like this in your country also , but if we are on holiday at the sea then any time is an acceptable time to drink something - be it at breakfast or dinner , but beer especially made for breakfast is very interesting
Oh yes, we do that too. The normal rules are suspended on holiday!!!
I very rarely go into a liquor shop and I drink mostly wine or things like Smirnoff storm etc, but I am going to make a point now to look at different beers. I am sure we do not have such a huge variety in our country - just the normal big names and a few ciders. Think I must get some weird ones and make up a Xmas stocking for my daughter and husband

I have heard of breakfast beer prior to this and still can't wrap my meagre brain around it XD
I still can't either, how is it ever acceptable?!!
Somehow when I see the abbriviation IPA come by, my mind goes like: "yaIPA, yaIPA, andelee, andelee!", in a loud cartoonish style.
Anyway, IPAs never been my favorite, as a sweet tooth they are way too hoppy bitter to my taste. But I have to state, the second one got me somewhat temped to give it another shot.
I know what you mean with that hoppiness! This I've was the kind I like where the flavours balance it out a bit.
Hehe, I will probably think the same when I see IPA now!

Really beer for breakfast sounds very crazy! One of them seemed juice but the other I must admit that I was impressed the design of the can looked great and so you say the mix of coconut and mango sounds delicious

The second left me crazy, so many ingredients, all have a great aroma in particular and for you to like it is that they did a good job in doing it, I also love the design a skeleton astronaut heheehh
