re-write
synchronized significance of dissimilar events
has escaped my attention again
cloud-watching planet-seeking
bird alien ship or superhero stealth plane
canvas handpainted bookmark slipping through my fingers to the grass
pages fluttering as the story rises
coming to life cupped in my hands
heart on a platter
being served to you
i’ve got no regrets
in no position
to contest my will
can’t change the mind that’s locked up
abandoned all hope to enter here
campaign against me
malfunction of my plans
rocks will crumble into sand
