RE: Invest money or time

in #steem5 years ago (edited)

You really believe people who invested money of their own are more serious about it? Those who have money, or even a lot of money do not care if it get lost. Money means nothing to them. It is also not said that everyone has time to spend day and night here, writing, commenting. If I read what is generally written it is all the same. If Steemit.com wants to be or is meant to be for the upperclass/high society they should say so, but then they should also kick out all those people not able to write in English, who's grammar sucks and be perfect themselve.

By now the whole system is not. Let them be clear about what they want and set rules and stick to it. Update their FAQ, explain how or what. It now feels to me the rules are made by the ones with money and the ones without are only great to advertise and they will be kicked out sooner or later.
There is nothing wrong with steemit being a copy of the society in real world, where everybody has the right to join (especially when so Manny people say it is better here as at Facebook). Most role are o writers and do not like to be one either.

To me it is still unclear which way steemit wants to go. I agree you do need to read and comment on what other people write, but how can you do so if you have not enough steem power when you start and nobody tells you why? You will not find this concept anywhere else. Believe me WordPress, blogspot, Facebook, Twitter, they are all working fine, worldwide and people are very motivated without paying for it.

Let us say I have money to invest in my account. Instead of buying food for the 30 euro I have to spend next month, me and my kids will eat nothing. We will drink hot water and tea for a month. I will use the 30 euro for my account to be a?
It beats me, No can find back this info ... I also do not understand which steps to take.
Btw: I assume you need a credit card or so? Are you aware of the fact many people do not have one? In my country you will only get 1 if you have a certain income left over after your monthly payments/bills and debts are payed?

Hi wakeupkitty you can buy steem at bitcoinmeester with ideal I don't know if PayPal is also an option. You have Bitcoin ATMs where you can put cash into the machine and turn it into Bitcoin some I think even in steem. I plan to buy that system for steem events. You can have a prepaid creditcard like pay2d.nl you can send money there. But if you use bitcoinmeester you can easily send euro and convert it there. The rate is expensive but after 100 euro you get vip status and then the rate is much cheaper read up on it maybe it is something. The steem blockchain is so much more then only steemit those steemmonsters dtube dsound development branch I'm happy to be here and don't want to be rich quick because mostly there is no quick way. I'm here for the community and I can build something out of nothing (look at the Dutch community) my feeling with steem is like the world is yours you only have to take it. And if you need more food we will make your life easier or try to help you in any way we can is my mind set. That is what the community is also about sharing information tips helping one another.

Excellent points... Steem is what we make of it.

I understand your concerns. Steem is very young and we will improve it. The entire crypto movement works for people who are unbanked. Especially Steem where one can earn. If a beginner doesn't have enough RC, DApps can delegate some SP until they can fly on their own.

Yes, it is confusing and the learning curse is steep but in the future it will become easier to understand the system. That's one of the reasons I'm also writing about it so that my followers can educate themselves and not only draw wonderful comics.

Also Steem is not Steemit. There are many DApps to post from. Steemit Inc is a centralized company but blockchain is decentralized so the future is up to us.
