What Is Your Steem Goal 2018? 💥
Setting goals sounds like a cliche, but then on the other hand it’s even more of a cliche when you ask; “where did all the time go?” . The simple answer is, time disappeared when you where eating, sleeping or working and not using your spare time wisely. It’s impossible to build a house in one day, but if you set a reasonable goal you can achieve it.
So back to the the question; what is my Steem goal 2018 ? Notice I didn’t write Steemit here, because it’s important to realize if we want to grow on the Steem blockchain we have to use all the possible platforms built on this awesome blockchain, not only Steemit.
1- My first goal is monetary because numbers are an easy way to set goals. So by the end of 2018 I want to have atleast 5000 Steem Power. This will allow me to become a dolphin, which will feel like an awesome accomplishment. Considering I’m at 3000 after one year, from which I also powered up with own money, it feels like a hard task to reach 5000, but it’s not impossible.
Right now I have 3028 SP . To reach 5000 I need, 5000- 3028 = 1972 . There are 178 days left.
1972 / 178 =11.07, SP/ Day
Now trying to be realistic, is this even possible ? Because if I check my average payout from the last week I’m currently only earning 7 dollars per day, which equals 5 Steem, less than half of my goal. I think it’s possible, I just have to step up my game a bit.
2- My second goal is to finish setting up my workshop, that I have with my dad so that I can start making design items. We just bought a small storage house to put in the back garden so we can empty the garage, and make it a man cave just for creative work and production. As you can see in the picture it’s a lot of work hehe. By setting up this workshop I think I can increase my value on Steemit by helping to build a market for Steem. I want to sell the products in Steem currency.
3- I want to try to get involved with more projects on the Steem Blockchain. My goal is to start using both Dtube and steemhunt for starters, and as new SMT projects roll in I want to make sure to try those as well!
4- I want to make sure to support atleast 8 minnows with autovoting, so they have my continuous support. It’s important to be thankful for all the help I have gotten and to give back. While giving back to the big accounts that helped you up I think it’s equally important to help others to get where you are yourself!
So now it’s your turn what is your goal for this year ?
5000 SP and dolphin mode is a nice goal, and I think totally achievable by the end of the year. Hopefully, prices moving up will give you a hand there :)
Good decision to get more involved with some of the communities (with the nice votes), this will also help with goal 1!
I'd like to reach 15000k SP, but that leaves me over 3500 to find - it's a target at least!
I’m sure you can achieve it.
Based on organic growth ( no use of bid bots) and number of posts per day, your growth in percentage must have been one of the best of all accounts if looking back at the past year! So 3500 shouldn’t be a problem for you.
But yea, hopefully a bull run is in the cards by fall and we can get some nice help along the way
Yeah I've been really lucky with the support I've had, and finding utopian-io.
The past few months have been much slower than the previous, the market has been a big factor.
Let's hope we can both achieve and surpass our targets!
Amen to that ! Btw turns out we are playing eachother in the quarterfinals - damn that will be an exciting game :) quite a few see England as being favorites to win the hole thing this year.
I think Belgium, if they turn it up a notch might be really hard to beat as well

France were my pre-tournement pick but Belgium can beat Brazil and have a chance if they play to potential. Looking forward to all the games!

well, I wish you all the blessings and I am pretty sure that you will cross 5000 mark by the end of 2018, as there is going to be huge gap in the no.of users joined steemit last year to the users who will join by the end of this year.
I appreciate your goal to set up your marketplace where you can sell items in Steem . This is really a wonderful way to contribute to the community . Thanks for sharing your goal.

Building Friendship -: I wish to build a community of people who can support each other , not only on steemit but also in the real world for any particular tragedy. How wonderful would it be when a bunch of people come together to support a cancer patient.
I think steemit is a wonderful way to help people all around the world. All we need is support from conscious people and relationship is the key.
I want to support the real content-: Sometimes most honest artist give up here because his/ her work do not get the appropriate attention for sometime. I want to keep on upvoting and comment on his/her so that he/she has always a reason to continue. Sharing is care.
Yes, Of course , I want my posts to break their own records by receiving a lot of upvotes and comments . Every writer do his level best to touch at least a few people with his work.

I love your post. To add to it, since i am new to this platform, my steem goal is to increase my reputation, steem power and of course post earnings. I know it will be difficult for me to achieve that but i won't give up
My best advice is to figure out what you want to write about and don’t care if there are not a lot of posts in this category, that is even better. Writing about something you are interested in will have the passion shining through and it will interest likeminded. Furthermore be careful who you follow. Choose wisely who you are interested in, otherwise your feed will be flooded. It doesn’t matter how many followers you have just matters how many real followers you have that care about you.
So to summarize, stay true to yourself, and share who you are :)

you set some really great goals, I guess the 5000SP will be the hardest of them. On the other hand if the price will go up by the end of the year it´s definitely makeable.
I´m happy if I reach the 1000SP this year, but Im also waiting for a good entry point to buy some Steem. I know, it´s already cheap but I expect it to go down again. Good luck with all your goals.
I also think it’s going to go down a bit more along with Bitcoin following the lead. Averaging in might be a good to make sure you don’t miss anything, plus as soon as you get more SP it helps generate more money, so buying earlier also has its advantages.

Great goals, and I like the most the second one! A goal I have is to sell stuff on the plattform too. It's not that easy atm but I think it will develop.
It’s definitely not easy at the moment, but step by step it will probably be many stores that accept steem or sbd - atleast I hope so !
