Many thanks go out to @bleujay, for the inspiration for this post. Though her post is definitely a bit more...highbrow. Post: Principle Of The Day

Pity that I can not translate the image that is in English so I do not understand much

Now the raisins come from the grapes? How is that process? she have to see?

That would make it hard to understand. I'll see what I can do here.
The grape is very vain, thinking she is beautiful, and plump and healthy. And takes good care of herself. Little does she know, that a raisin is actually a grape left to dry out in the sun and become a shriveled, 'ugly' raisin/grape. But, no matter what she does, it does not matter...as they now put the grape in the dehydrator--to make the raisins for us. So it is all "vanity in vain".

Does that make some sense? I can imagine how hard Steemit must be at times, in another language. Humor has so much nuance, and hidden meaning based in language, etc. But you do very well. I cannot imagine trying it in Spanish. I have enough trouble with English ( :
Thanks for stopping in, and attempting to understand my 'humor'. I hope that helps. Have a most wondrous day as well.

I wish a grape and a raisin were sitting on my plate, yum! :P

You got a huge smile out of me on this one.

It's funny- even though the raisin is thinking of telling the grape about the new dehydrator, we all know that raisins can't really talk.

I'm fairly certain it is more of an issue of small-fruit dry mouth, versus any sort of vocal-chord anomaly, or lack of confidence based on a deflated ego through recurring thoughts of a past-state of existence. Then again, you might be right...maybe they just never learned this fine art we take so for granted.

Thank you for posting @ddschteinn.

Lovely photograph and musings......very humourous.

Ingenious and creative as well.

Appreciate the mention....very kind of you.

I have thought of the raisin in the sense that it is advertised as a luxury lifestyle to be tanning on the beach with a drink in hand.....when the result of such a lifestyle is to wind up a 'raisin'...... just a silly thought. ^__^

All the best.

Cheers!

So glad you enjoyed my prune-y segue. Hoped you wouldn't mind. You inspired me in SOME direction ( :
I too, used to do my best to 'raisin' myself...when young. The thing to do was get as brown as possible in Florida trips, or just in the summer. I'm sure I shall pay for it one day. A touch of vanity and health, seldom go hand in hand in the world of reality de' biologique. Then again, it's hard to be told anything, when young. At least that you might believe. (Sorry, those of you of young persuasion here..... But reality is reality...)

No worries....I found it delightful.

Of course we must go to the beach and get 'raisined'.....you said it so much better than I could.

Thank you for the laugh. ^__^

Cheers!

Oh she don't need a dehydrator, just left her outside for a few minutes and she will be a charcoal raising!

I fear your area of the planet may be a bit hotter than here. But then again, think of the possibilities. Only buy grapes, put some on the car hood, make breakfast cereal garnishes for free to save a TON of money, yet still have glorious grapes to cool you off in the evening. All from ONE bag. Genius. I think you might just be onto something here.

Nice photos and excellent idea in creating dialogue between a grape and a raisin!

Ah! I can imagine what happens before grapes become a tasty cereal garnish from this. Well done! ;)

P.s. I myself love both grapes and raisins. ;))

Glad you enjoyed their little conversation. They are a talkative fruit, that's for sure.
And isn't it amazing?! They come from the same small little globe, but taste SO different. One of the truly joyous mysteries of life. I'm glad they make raisins though, as a bunch of grapes would be darn hard to corral with a round spoon. A complete cereal breakfast might take DAYS to complete, chasing them all about the bowl until the proverbial cow's come home. (Do you know that saying? Wonder where it came from??)
Then again, think of the early AM exercise one would get!!!! Maybe you and I and the grapes are onto something...

I absolutely agree with you! Yeah! It's really amazing indeed, "they come from the same small little globe, but taste so different."

Ha ha!! I can imagine what will happen if we have cereal breakfast with a bunch of grapes. ;D

Um! Regarding to your question, "Do you know that saying?", I'm not good at English and don't know much about "proverbs", so when you said something about that, I always did not understand...... Would you do me a favor to explain this to me?..... ;))

I see it as a metaphor for the time lines that are appearing daily on my face. Oh yes, it seems but yesterday that I was baby faced and grape skin smooth!

Ha haa, so true. Ah yes, smooth as a baby's behind. I remember it well, Marquartte. But we have wisdom lines now, to demonstrate how truly smart we are. Or at least to suggest to us to wear a hat more often, if we fall short of that particular line of thought. Thanks for stopping in, and weighing in on my small, round orb template of impending wrinkledom.

You should introduce a glass of wine to the scene. Talk about a grape having a bad day...

You stole my thunder here, I was going to pontificate about the next scene being a crime one with a spilled glass of wine and the realization of both grape and raisin. :)

Heh heh. (twirls moustache.) Stolen thunder is the most delicious thunder!

Nice pictur , your post is amazing . Lovely photography . Thanks for sharing @ddschteinn
