15th Round KO - Down Goes The One-Upper
I spent a whole BCH just now and didn’t get to enjoy one Satoshi of it — it’s still my favorite Friday of the week! If I was in Washington state, I would’ve just gone over to DIY center and had a duck farming lineman put a post together for my... uhm... Hold, please. I need to fetch the work order. Ah, yes, that’s it! Camshaft positioning sensors, with an ‘S.’ Well, three of them actually. S’s, that is, three S’s, not three positioning sensors. There’s three S’s in sensors but the car only has two sensors. There’s six S’s in two sensors and just three in one sensor. Can anyone tell me what in the world just happened?? Now about the two sensors with three S’s: For those of you who don’t know what they are, they’re these two little metal looking, programmable things with wires on them that go under the hood somewhere and are equivalent to 1.01933763 BCH, Danget! I know what you’re thinking: ‘What’s this have to do with food?” Well, I’ve been in two different waiting rooms, one gym, one Uber car, soon to be a second Uber and we still don’t have the car back — I’ve had plenty of time think about #fff and I have an idea. 🤔 And, no, this has nothing to do with the fact that I left the GoPro in the car and don’t have the pictures I took of the Hachiya Persimmon’s last week at the farmers market — nope, that’s not it! Stop reading this with judgy eyes. I’m just gonna wing it, know why? Because it’s my favorite Friday of the week and I work better on the wing fly anyway. @puravidaville, duh! I’ve noticed a couple of food fighters calling her “queen of the kitchen,” makes sense, I’ve been calling her queen for awhile! She sets the bar in the kitchen, true, but she’s also doing cool stuff like @steembasicincome give away’s and showing off her transparency skills. Check out her tags for tonight’s #fff contender.
@gguy773. Hey, this gguy (no, I don’t st-studder, he sp-spells his name with two j-G’s) not only got my v-vote (sorry!) at kitchen #fff last week but he’s also winning competitions over at #fruitsandveggiesmonday. Congratulations, chef!
@weirdheadaches. This dude is no joke! He’s been fasting now for like 15 days! 15 days?! I can’t go 15 days without a shower. I mean, the dude even has ‘weird’ in his name. Two weeks, no food whatsoever, nothing but water and lemon, incredible! Congratulations man!
@shaidon. This guy just entered the #fff arena last week and we’re happy to have him! Thanks for coming over to #steemit. He’s originally from YouTube where they kicked him out for not having enough foot traffic or something lame like that. He’s very into anti censorship and just censorship in general, not to mention a real good writer — do check him out! He kinda reminds me of a tame Berwick.

@braiiboy. He’s always putting videos like this one together and showing off both his A+ personality and @dtube skills. He’s kind of like a hip combination of iron chef and diners drive in’s and dive’s at the same time.

@sivehead. I’m sure he’s done something worth mentioning, I just can’t remember what it was. There’s the big @curie trail he got this week for something to do with teeth I think?? 🤔 I forget what it’s about now. Oh ya! And then he did this one about good hygiene! And last but not least, it’s that same duck farmer guy I was telling you about in the beginning, the guy who’s from Washington State. He’s a lineman, just don’t ask him to spell anything and you should be ok! I probably should’ve used ‘might’ instead of ‘should.’ You might be ok? Oh well. Anything else and it’s on! He’s not only running his account, watching over his daughters’ and sons’ account but he’s also the mind behind @foodfightfriday. I don’t know how he does it. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of #steemit, stand up!! How did you manage to spend a whole BCH on cam position sensors? They're a bitch to replace but they're not that expensive normally...
Good morning! Thanks for the response. The sensors themselves were $109/each and the shop, a Discount Tire here in Los Angeles charged me two hours labor at $100/hour. There goes a BCH!
Pricing in the city is probably hijacked but we don’t have a garage here we are right now, the car would act like it was slipping in and out of gear from a dead stop when you give it gas. It was spendy but at least the thing shifts normal now.

You and me both @coloneljethro. The thing is, a buddy of mine is buying the car from me in about 3 weeks and I told him ‘the transmission is doing something weird.’ He wasn’t concerned, well, then the dash light came on so I took it to the shop.
Agreed, LA prices are most likely steep but the car doesn’t have a light on anymore, apparently it was the timing, not the transmission and my buddy will be getting it without any issues. As per the usual, everything worked out the way it’s supposed to. 👍🏿 Happy Sunday!

It wasn’t the Bentley with the bad sensors, it was the Porsche, you know the four door one.. no, not the gas one, we don’t drive that car unless it’s spring, the electric Porsche. The Bentley’s fine!

One time dude! 18 years old, the super charged V6 thunderbird, I had it one year and sold it. That’s the first and last car payment I’ve ever had in my life, I won’t do that again! The thing is, my buddy, a brother of ours already gave me the money for the car. He’s one of those guys where if he doesn’t fork it over now he’ll blow it somewhere else. He’s buying it cuz Pura Vida and I are hopping countries, right? Well, I told him ‘the transmission is doing something weird even though it only has 20k on it’ but he wasn’t concerned with that. So, the light came on! Well, I can’t give the car to him or anyone, not even a stranger, if it’s not running perfectly. Took it to the shop.
Bad news - $450! ‘Ouch.’
Good news - The transmission is fine! ‘Nice.’
