#SilverPornSaturday: A toner JM Silver Bar
The production of these bars has been discontinued since Johnson Matthey was purchased by another refiner, Asahi. They are now traded as a secondary market item.
Secondary market silver bullion bars have been previously owned and/or circulated. It is not surprising that secondary market silver bars have nicks, scratches, toning, or other surface marks. This bar is toned due to the natural oxidation process, but has no negative effect on the value of the silver.
I personally think that the surface marks and blue and pink toning that developed in the middle of the face of this bar makes it so unique and makes it...

Slow and sure, if one adds consistently to one's stack, it can be impressive. It is amazing how much one can accumulate (in wealth), one ounce at a time! However, I really do not stack large bars. MY largest is a 20-ounce bar. I prefer to stack the 1 oz American Silver Eagles, and US Constitutional Silver and fractional gold. Thank you for checking this bar out, my friend @tattoodjay!

Whoa, deja vous and where have I seen this before? Lol! It's not just the serial number that makes your bar unique. Every little scratch, toning, bump gives any vintage bar it's own ❤ character. I like mine free of the plastic so I can feel it against my skin. A fine bar Sis!

We are stacking sisters, through and through... I only follow the best, sis @kerrislravenhill. We do have different and sometimes opposite tastes in silver, but this one... be both see the value in low premium and reputably minted bars. Luv ya, sis... Lots of Hugs and Kisses 🤗💕💋!!!!

I only got this because the premium is within my threshold, yet most pressed bars are. But I prefer smaller sizes of silver. The majority of my stack are American Silver Eagles coins. I seldom buy large bars, my biggest is a 20 oz silver bar.
I can imagine that you come across silver in your travels! Wouldn't it be great to get one silver coin from the places you visit!
