Hi Friends!
A habit that I started way back in my early Steem days, was to do some kind of giveaway every time I hit a new milestone.
I always try to hold some kind of community building contest and then give away prizes to thank you all for helping me to reach this point!

Still can’t believe that it’s been over a year and a half since I joined this place and have literally spent hours here every day since. Being on Steem has totally changed my world, and allowed me to make tons of awesome friends. Many of which I’ve met in person multiple times all over the world.

Congratz on the milestone! <3 It's a good habit to celebrate them, although I often forget :')
A random thing about me: I still have some Christmas decoration in my living room! Just seem to not be able to say goodbye to the lights now it's still dark and rainy outside. I made a pact with myself to clean them up within a week after my neighbours clean up theirs - they still have some lights hanging too. I think I was pretty smart making this pact since I put the responsibility in someone else's hands :P (And what happens if they made the same pact? Waiting for me to clean up mine? Maybe they'll still be there next Christmas... :'))
Anyway, what am I talking about Christmas, you clearly spending time in summer :-) Enjoy!
If I would let them, my family would keep up Christmas decorations year round. I don't mind the festivities, but I am always concerned with the higher electric bills. Thanks for sharing. I hope you and your neighbors can work out your pact.
It's already February but I saw Christmas decorations in my hometown. Still Christmas in summer like you. Good sharing my dear.

Thanks for leaving a comment. It is still winter where I leave, so during the first weekend with nice weather, everyone in town took down the Christmas decorations. I am glad that you can still enjoy the decorations!

First of all, congratulations on achieving the 73 @coruscate! Great move putting this contest out so we all can get to know each other better through your comment section!
So here we go, something no one knows about me yet: (it came into my mind when you mentioned the fishing part): I can't stand it to touch a living fish, so every time I was going fishing, I needed someone taking the fish from the hook! hahaha now in my 30th I still think it is the same, haven't been fishing though for a long time!
Anyway, I love your content, especially your vlogs (and the SteemSisterShow) and I hope we will meet soon! Couldn't make it to the SF3 but planning already on SF4 - wherever it will be! Maybe we will meet at some point at one of the next DTube Forums! This year, I will start it here in Barcelona, next year we'll see! Have a great time at Anarchapulco. Best greetings from Barcelona

So live fish freak you out--do you avoid fish in your diet as well?
I go fishing every summer with my kids--it is one of my favorite trips every year. We go to a small lake in southern Utah named Panguitch (which mean "Big Fish" in the American Indian language of this area).
Hey there @bigpanda thanks for replying directly! As a matter of fact, I love eating all kind of fish. As well I don’t have any problem preparing it. Give me a full (not anymore alive) fish and I take care of the rest making a nice meal out of it. I really should start attacking this demon as my son is 4 now and soon might ask me taking him for fishing. What should I say then??? „Sure let’s go, but you have to grab the fish yourself“?😂
Great to hear the time with your kids out in the nature is your favorite! I had the same with my dad, spending nights out at the lake, fishing and preparing the fresh catch to a nice fish soup!

Last Friday, I went on a Daddy/Daughter date at our church. I have 5 daughters so my evening was filled with a lot of beautiful ladies (beautiful like my wife).
When I told people about my date, they asked, "So you are going to take all of your daughters?" What a silly question? Of course! We had a great time together. I am a blessed daddy!

I grew up in a family of 6 kids - so I get the whole big family dynamic! What a fun adventure for you.
We had a blast. My wife and our 3-month-old son stayed at home. It is nice when people get the big family dynamic. It is a wild and wonderful adventure!

Ohhhh Yes! Here! Me too! I love that, one of my favorite candies next to Gummi bears and Raffaello. Just last time, my Swedish colleague brought some salted licorice from home, and he said already it’s hardcore, that was to much for me and I couldn’t finish it.

Oh man you must have some serious self control! I also suffer from a crazy sweet tooth. 😔
I’ve starter using monk fruit as a sweetener. It is a natural sugar free alternative that doesn’t have a bad aftertaste like stevia.
Do you use a sugar free sub - or just cut sugar all together?

@priyanarc @coruscate, I apologise for responding so late, I relocated to a new country.
It’s been a process actually, started with cutting out refined sugar (white), I use to bake with it.
Then some brown sugar for a while but figured, who am I kidding?
Resorted to getting my fix from chocolate, didn’t hold up, still the same thing.
I get my fix from fruits and juices these days, pure honey when I can find that, no sweetener no sugar in my pantry anymore..
Won’t say I’ve nailed it down 100%, it’s still work in progress haha 😊

So if topic of this contest To know each other I would like to tell about my hobbies. Among usual kinds of sport, fishing and photography I have the spesial one it's Radio Amateuring. It combines both the sports component and the technical part. And in my opinion it is useful not only for physical but also mental development.

Radio has a very special place in my heart, because I drive a lot and the people behind the Radio make me company all year long, a lot of hours per day.
