What's your routine? Mine right now is Nice cream Time! + super antioxidant + anti-aging!

The best thing about summer time is Nice Cream! and this one is really really nice.

I've been freezing bananas for a long time, but I never knew it was actually called nice cream until recently haha, well i'm not a person who actively goes out and looks for recipes, one reason it's because it makes me really hungry.

Well it's no secret that nice cream is perfect for breakfast especially this combo that I wanted to share with you all for @lenaveganliving for the #fruitsandveggiesmonday contest

  • Soaked oats
  • Chopped Local Strawberries
  • Chopped Bananas
  • Toasted oat and nut mix homemade in bread maker
  • Shaved carob chocolate sprinklings
  • last and definitely not the least + Nice cream with Maqui Berry

Maqui Berry is an amazing super berry that will blow your mind, it' said to turn back time with it's anti-aging properties, it tastes really zesty and creates this beautiful colour!

I'm needing a bit of nice to keep me going through this intense time, breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day for me right now, mainly because i'm out all day. Recently I've not been having breakfast straight away when I wake up around 7am, instead i'll have some water or a herbal tea and start washing the dishes from the night before, then on to prepping my lunch, i might snack on some of the veggies i'm chopping, have a little break by doing some light yoga on the sunny balcony and once i've worked a bit of an appetite i'll have my breakfast around 10am and leave the house soon after.

The week prior to this one I was up at 6am eating my breakfast by 6.30am and already cycling to the station by 7am, those days I was very very hungry by 12am/1am. I'm not sure which of these two routines are healthier for the body, they say waking up at 6am is good for you but some mornings it was so hard to move my body at the times my legs felt so stiff, my breakfast was no where near as nice as this one and my journey on the train was a bit crowded and more stressful being around so many people at that early in the morning. I did prefer my early morning cycles compared to now where i'm moving in the heat of the day.

I find having a routine does keep me grounded, when I have no fixed routine bad habits creep in and when you have all the time in the world it's easy to put things off until later or tomorrow. Currently my time is reduced so I'm compelled to finish all those odd jobs but don't get me wrong, I never manage to check off everything on my to do list.

I'd love to know about your routine and how breakfast fits into it, do you skip it, do you eat it straight away, do you wait. Are you an early or late riser, do you have a choice, do you love life when u start the day or dread it? What do you consider a healthy routine?

Nice cream can be so simple and still taste fantastic - sometimes I would just go for bananas and cinnamon and be absolutely happy with it :)

I am experimenting with a new breakfast routine lately, that is no breakfast at all. It is called intermittent fasting and it gives your body more time for vital healing processes within your body.
Although I was always the person eating breakfast right away after hopping out of my bed, the new routine feels just great and on top, it saves me some time in the morning to focus on my projects :P

Im at my fittest when I am working full time (which has been some years now lol) or when ive been given a place to do an epic garden project on and theres alot of physical work. Sleep before 10pm (because your tired from working) and then up at 5.. I used to love a fried breakfast hahahaha.. sausage, eggs and bacon with toast or chocopops ! (this is my old drone lifestyle breakfast) Since traveling around, I wake up and drink a hot drink and smoke a spliff.. Then i think what there is to eat- Eggs is a winner anytime and are something I buy regularly (and milk, thats about it lol) -I miss cheap country's or places with many farms selling products though :) .

Very nice indeed! I'm an early riser and I'm usually hungry right away. Many mornings I'm training clients by 6:30, so breakfast is around 5:30. I don't eat a super heavy breakfast, but I feel better if I get something in my belly sooner. I tend to workout in the morning, too, and can hit it harder when I'm fed unless it's just a short easy run which I have played around with doing fasted.

When I eat dinner by 5 or so that seems to really get my body working best. Ideally 13 hours between my last meal and breakfast is a solid fasting break overnight. Everyone seems to be really different on this, so I'm not sure there is a perfect routine for everyone. I do tend to do better when I can stick to some consistent routine, though. :)

For years I skipped breakfast, but the last couple i've just moved the time forward a bit. I can't eat within the first hour of being awake or so have a drink then a light breakfast once the commute to work is over. nothing as nice a this, another for the list of things to try thanks!

I am not a morning person. I am most creative and active late in the evening or at nighttime. Therefore it's always hard for me to get out of the bed in the morning. I stretch this moment to the max but I found out that a light yoga routine in the morning is good for me. And a morning with enough time for a proper breakfast is a better morning. I definitely need this. Actually I can't afford to skip a meal to not to loose weight.
Thank you for this amazing inspiration that nicecream counts as a proper breakfast. Maybe this makes getting up much easier! 😜
I have never heard of this fruit but this color is amazing, indeed!

I like you don't like to eat immediately. I feel like just eating for the sake of eating first thing is not what my body wants! Usually 10 or so is a good time to have my morning juice or smoothie. Although nice cream with fruit looks like an amazing idea! Thank you for sharing Maqui! I bought some several weeks ago and I love it in my smoothies! Why didn't we understand the wonder of frozen bananas many years ago! They are a game changer I think. Wonderful post @celestialcow

nice cream! yes lool. This looks so beautiful, and inspires me to want to eat breakkie.. I have NEVER really eat anything before 1pm,, i just have a black coffee and then a LOT of lemon water all morning long.. SOmehow eating before lunch seems to make me tired and i have never felt hungry before...

This looks scrumptious and the nice cream is so vibrant. We should all make sure we eat enough vibrant food. Love the combined texture. It could be good any time of the day.

I usually wait like an hour before eating breakfast, mainly because I am not hungry when waking up.

I can be both actually, I have no problem sleeping like 6 hours a day, and I can easily sleep 10 or more. But if I sleep just 5 hours for a few days my energy starts to drain very fast and eventually I would have to have a very long nap :)

I would say I love life and have no problem starting my day with the right energy.

What do you consider a healthy routine?

Sleeping a proper number of hours, taking a bath and having a healthy breakfast. That is probably the best way to start a morning.

I agree with u, sleep is super important and altho there's been times in my life I could manage on 5 hours I was alot younger then and now I need to give my body the much needed rest it deserves
