Do you think that slavery has disappeared or has evolved?
Most definitely evolved, I see everyone from the non existent middle class down to be a form of slave relative to the requirement of earning a income to survive.
We in short are all slaves to the financial system in one way or another, self induced slavery you could even say. If you do not wish to play within the realm of the financial construct then you essentially cast yourself out of the realm and all the benefits it may contain.
We are lured in with flashy things and comforts only to make a requirement of further self slavery to remain within those comforts with those flashy things.

I agree.
I'm thinking in ways to be really free. And every idea includes be "confort free"
To be completely free we would have to be willing to revert back to the ways of early settlers, the pioneers.
Possibly searching out previously unsettled lands but with complete freedom there is also price, it would only be completely realized by the first generation born outside society. No ability to draw support from civilization is the biggest one of all, undocumented people’s have the hardest time when say they need to search out medical assistance.

I made my comment without Partiko and I am not trying to suck up for the prize. I got an invite for Partiko on one of my posts last night, and then your post was one of the ones I looked at to decide if I should download it and try. Then I got too excited about this chance to ask my burning question to read far enough to see your ONE RULE, lol.
But I want you to know I did manage to get Partiko on my phone today and did my first post with it. It is ugly and not well formatted, but you cannot improve until you try, so I am proud of myself. I'm not too good on a phone but I will improve with this too.
And for sure I will ask a question next week in the proper way. You have opened the floodgates now, and all of my dumb questions are about to be revealed.

I agree with you completely @mariannewest does so much with the freewrite community I wish I could do more but with limited time I think the best thing I can do is help support and raise awareness. Going to try once a week to draw some of the Partiko regulars into the #freewrite community and maybe we can sway @Partiko itself to show some support 😉 it may require a little effort but I’m all about blending the lines as communities working together are much better then working separately.
@crypto.talk just dropped his first DTube vlog make sure you check that out show him some love as he hinted at an upcoming update for us vloggers 👍

I am not really ever on my phone or on the go. I do not even have service unless I have wifi somewhere. This will be an effort on my part. But I know I am a freak of nature and this is the future, so I am on it!
I've been spouting off about Marianne as much as I can. No one else I know is so helpful to the very new redfish that struggle to make it here. I'm glad to see your help and maybe we will start a wave of support for her soon.

It’s literally impossible to do laundry on the ISS, they must stretch what they have brought with them as long as possible.
After doing a fair amount of google searching I came across a good article on the nasa.gov site.
“In his series of "Space Chronicles," ISS Expedition Six Science Officer Don Pettit wrote that he changes his underwear once every 3 or 4 days.”
Definitely not part of the job they speak much of lmao no glory in that one!

I think it’s a great project, nothing bad to say other then being a little complicated. I have seen many people use it with much success but myself I did not make it past the create a post part, I was thinking of raising funds for #OneLoveDTube tech projects. The only downside I can see is it being used as a way of taking value from the platform for things outside of the blockchain and as we are still very new that could add up very quickly. I understand the necessity of such a project as if it wasn’t for crowd funding we would not have 3D printers but I also have concerns on whether our platform can sustain the level of fundraising to bring a initiative like that to life. If there was a move from paying Steem/SBD to help the fundition of choice to paying fiat I believe it would be capable of competing with other fund raisers but that wouldn’t really help the Steem blockchain unless those funds were to be invested into the platform. No matter what it seems like a good way of attracting outside investors highlighting the projects that are on going.

Thank you man! I appreciate your honesty to talk about it.
Steemit needs to be known also outside of its world and Fundition does it. Rewards here are divided in Steem/SBD used for the support of every project, but there is also SP that usually remains in this platform.
Moreover most project are based on Charity and Education with a good ethic goals.
I would like to know an external opinion and this is important for me and for @fundition team.👍

I may need to look into trying to write a fundition post for the #OneLoveDTube community once again. We have been able to sustain ourselves but so many of our projects require renting servers and that gets expensive quick. Maybe we will bump into each other as I will most likely need to ask some questions in discord, the project has come a long way since I last looked into it.

Seriously there would be no sudden surprise as I use my power for things as I receive it such as delegation to communities and projects I am apart of. There is no real reason for me to powerdown so at that point I would just keep moving forward with content creation. I would have made 100k liquid so the power would be safe to leave invested assuming I could take that vacation from what I would have liquid.
Honestly by that point I hope to be travel vlogging and using my rewards to live off of and keeping a large proportion of what I have earned invested would be the only way to remain credible to the words I have spoken to get to that point.

My question this week is:
I've tried creating a dTube video last year, but they always came out lagging or buffering. What's the best speed to create a video to avoid having those issues?

Alright so it’s kind of dependant on your internet connection for the lagging issues if your still experiencing it. DTube has come a long way in hosting the files since a year ago, back then buffering and not playing was a serious concern for everyone so I will explain what works best for me now.
DTube is best done with 720P 30 FPS, many people use Handbrake on PC to compress the video even further without sacrificing the quality too much. I have been told to use the generic 720p on handbrake for best results.
Also if your experiencing buffering still you could try turning down the quality to 480p, when you upload 720p + it automatically creates a 240p & 480p version available from the bottom right corner of playing window. It may just be service provider restrictions as I have heard complaints about AOL restricting the files as they mimic torrents on a bandwidth level.

Neither the best way is DTube and requires much work but anyone with a cell phone has the potential to earn $5-15 a post with DTube curation.
Now if you have the money to invest self voting is the way to go over curation but your better off to create a sustainable future with networking through curation, I choose to not self vote as a practice since I wish to curate and build my network. Low value accounts are best to try get rewards through insightful comments as the curation rewards for small votes are unlikely and very minimal, yet again this builds your personal network thus drawing people to vote on your posts.
Creation is always first, curation second including comments, self voting last as I do not like the practice but if you must then you must.

If your a plankton, like me, it's not a good idea to self vote, I only have ten 100% upvotes a day and I avoid upvoting my post. It's better to upvote quality content created on Steemit.

What do you think about the price of steem? Why it's not jumping?
Well honestly the price of alt coins can only really follow BTC as this is the majority trading pair and the Steem fiat price is relevant to the fiat price of BTC on the selected exchange. Everything is kind of wonky this year with so much movement last year I see a lot less volume in BTC which would imply investors are trying to play smarter this year then last.
I figure the longer Steem goes sideways the better, also the slower it rises the better as a quick movement up is always followed by a quick movement down. I personally look at coin count and not coin value when thinking about rewards and value, the fiat value read out is misleading in my eyes as it fluctuates too drastically but the coin count stays relatively the same other then the SBD proportion.
Basically it’s not jumping because many people are still in salvage investment mode while the rest of us believers are in increase coin count mode, to me this is an opportunity to buy discounted coins from those whom are trying to take profit or simply just hold the price low as long as they. There is a lot that goes into trading including psychology which I am by far no expert in either TA or psychology.

I am not super strict on the one rule, rules are meant to be broken anyways 😉 I will always answer the question though unless it is something amazing your chances of winning are less, this is a Partiko promotion post as well as a contest.
So if you wanted to try you could download bluestacks a pc Android emulator and see if Partiko will run on that from your PC.
